Hi Everyone,

I am sitting at Brisbane airport waiting for a plane!! We have been here for the Stitches and Craft show. There has been a storm and the plane we are scheduled for has landed at Coolangatta! We have to wait for it to get to Brisbane.

Still waiting.

This fabulous little range is in the shop and only $20 mt.

Have you heard? Leanne's House has just let us know that Vignette ten is due out at the end of April. There is going to be a project "Mrs Beasley's Sampler Quilt"

We have most of the fabrics in stock and the girls at the shop have been busy cutting kits. These are the fabrics.

If you want to be ready come in and buy your kit. Leanne is using the Cosmo and Seasons threads in the project and I have ordered these.

Happy stitching

Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone,
It is never too early to learn, or for that matter too late.

I have had fun this week giving my triplet granddaughters their first sewing lesson!

They are about 2 years and 4 months, so I figured it was time to start.

The girls loved sewing, so we have to make some more time.

This is a new range in the shop. It is Flirt by Sandy Gervais for Moda it is really fresh and lovely for summer. It has been popular, so if you would like some come for a visit soon.

We have closed now until December 27th, so I am looking forward to a couple of days to get ready for Christmas. We will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday next week and then open again from January 2nd.

Hoping you all have a happy and safe Christmas.

Happy stitching

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have been absent! Being such an IT dinosaur something changed on the iPad, so I haven't been able to blog.

I am back and guess what Gail B is getting for Christmas!!! We are getting a class room. A big classroom. Approval from the landlord has just come through, so the planning has just begun.

Keep checking in and I will show you some of the new ranges which have arrived over the last month or so.

Judy Nieymeyer

Hi Everyone,

I am having the best week!! Rebecca and I have been to a four day workshop with Judy Niemeyer doing a class which has made us a certified shop.

Judy does the most amazing paper piecing patterns, and has such a wonderful system which makes the whole process easy. This is what we are working on.

Glacier Star, this quilt teaches all of the techniques required to be able to complete any of Judy's patterns.

These are some of our units, which we will continue to work on over the next week or so.

Here is Rebecca, hard at work at the machine.

Rebecca, Gail and Judy.

We will have many of Judy's patterns coming into the shop over the next month.

Over the next few months we are trying to work out a way to offer classes to work on some of Judy's patterns.

Hope you are as excited as we are.
